What is the way of calculating the overall band score?

The IELTS band score is calculated by averaging the scores from the four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. The overall band score is rounded to the nearest whole or half band. Each of the sections is scored on a band scale of 0-9. 

For example- If the average of four section score ends in .25, the overall score is rounded up to the next half band. Like this- 6.25 becomes 6.5.
